This book inaugurates a series of this author´s writings about “the invisible”. After working for many years on the invisibleness of Nature, Maria Novo treats the invisibleness of women, of the non-salaried feminine work, of the production and re-production of life.

Through twenty four stories, the author gives life to another twenty four women, their experiences, their dreams, their most intimate and deepest thoughts. They are women from North and South, anonymous women, heroines in daily life, who start to voice their thoughts, in a necessary and gratifying experience: to make themselves visible.
